Frequently Asked Questions
What is IV therapy?
Intravenous therapy (IV) is a type of treatment that administers vitamins and nutrients directly into a vein. IV infusion is a safe, affordable therapy that is tailored to each client's specific desires, and provides a wide range of health benefits some of which are: improving immune health, enhance athletic recovery, augment skin elasticity, boost overall wellness, and so much more.

How can I schedule and prepare?
After selecting and scheduling an IV and/or intramuscular shot from our menu, you’ll receive an email with waivers consenting to treatment and a brief medical history. Please complete the paperwork prior to your arrival. On the day of your appointment- refrain from excessive caffeine, drink at least 8-10 Oz water, bring a cozy sweater or blanket as it tends to get chilly, and your favorite book or podcast.
What to expect during my treatment?
Upon arrival, we will take you back to one of our chaise lounges to settle in while we prepare for your treatment. Most of our IV drips take about 60 minutes. During this time you can relax, read or listen to music on your headphones, and just take time for you.
How often can I receive IV hydration?
It’s up to you! Some people only occasionally experience things like hangovers, jetlag, or migraines. Others get IV therapy more regularly since they see better results from taking vitamins intravenously. In the end, it really depends on your goals and lifestyle. Feel free to chat with our RNs to see what’s best for you.
Does getting an IV hurt and is it safe?
Everyone has their own pain tolerance. For most people, it’s only a little pinch. We do our best to make each experience as comfortable as possible. Our menu is formulated by medical professionals with appropriate training. All administering medical personnel are licensed Registered Nurses with years of experience working in hospitals and clinics.
Is this better than taking vitamins orally and how soon do I feel the effects?
Yes, vitamins and nutrients taken orally are only partially absorbed. IV hydration goes straight to your bloodstream bypassing the GI tract and absorbing 100% of the nutrients. Getting vitamins through the IV process is a direct route to the bloodstream and your cells for maximum absorption. Typically, you will feel the effects within an hour of treatment. (We’ve been told the hangover bag kicks in before your treatment is even over!)
Why is a card required at booking?
No worries, we aren’t charging your card in advance!! We require a card on-file at the time of booking to coincide with our cancellation policy. The card on-file is stored in Square’s system, we have no access to your card unless we are filing you as a no-show to your appointment. This also means that we are unable to use that card on file to charge following your appointment. Please bring payment to your appointment!
Can anyone receive this service?
Most individuals are cleared for treatment, but there are a few exceptions. Minors and those who are pregnant are unfortunately unable to receive treatment. We reserve the right to withhold treatment if we feel it would create complications or concerns.
Does thrIVing do bachelor/bachelorette or private parties?
